To mobilize citizens to effectively influence tobacco prevention and control legislation in North Dakota.
 

WHAT YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW:

1) Stay tuned to this website especially through the ND Legislative Session. Updates on the progress of tobacco related bills will be made with special requests on how citizens can impact legislative decisions. Click on the PENDING tabs to find out what specific action is needed NOW.

2) Write a letter to the editor and contact your legislators to voice your opinion on the importance of protecting all workers from the dangers of secondhand smoke.

3) Develop your own list of friends and healthcare advocates that you can forward action alerts to help join the cause. 

4) Check with your local public health unit to find out how you can become involved in a local tobacco free efforts.
